N.E.R.D are back and they seem to be in collaboration mode now after a seven-year break,. The group just released earlier this week – “Lemon” featuring Rihanna, and now, the trio is teaming up with adidas for a new collection.
The Fall/Winter 2017 Training Gear performance capsule is inspired by Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Haley’s “inimitable style,” Said in a statement by the sports giants when they unveiled N.E.R.D. x Hu NMD sneakers.
The first appearance of those clean sneakers were back at the start of September, as Pharrell stepped out in a pair at the YO’HOOD 2017 event in Shanghai.
The N.E.R.D. x Hu NMD sneakers come with a tonal black upper, as well as the words “Y.O.U.” and “N.E.R.D.” down each shoe in reflective silver lettering.The heel tab area features the group’s brand identity in the same silver detailing.
The collection is set for a global release on November 6 at select shops, adidas flagships, the Billionaire Boys Club Japan flagship, and online.
